Spray tanning in Haverhill

A flawless, natural-looking glow at Nu Beauty Haverhill. Our professional spray tan is tailored to your skin tone for an even, streak-free finish - perfect before a holiday, event or just to feel summer-ready year round. Your therapist matches the depth of colour and tans tricky-to-reach areas evenly, so there are no patchy hands or giveaway tide-marks. Pop in on Hollands Road the day before a wedding, prom or weekend away; we keep evening and Saturday slots for exactly that. Prep well by exfoliating beforehand and you’ll see a tan that develops naturally and fades cleanly over the following days. To get the most even result, exfoliate the night before with a gentle scrub, focusing on elbows, knees and ankles where skin is driest, and skip moisturiser, deodorant and make-up on the day so nothing sits between your skin and the solution. Once you leave the salon, the colour keeps developing for several hours, so wear loose, dark clothing home and avoid showering until your therapist’s guide time has passed. After that first rinse, keep your skin well hydrated with an oil-free lotion and steer clear of long hot baths, chlorine and heavy exfoliation, which all shorten how long a tan lasts. Most clients see a good, even colour for five to seven days, fading gradually and lasting up to ten days with great aftercare, without the harsh, patchy edges that can come from home kits.

Frequently asked questions

How do I prepare for a spray tan?

Exfoliate and shave or wax at least 24 hours beforehand, and arrive with clean, product-free skin (no moisturiser, make-up or deodorant). Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment.

How long does a spray tan last?

Typically five to seven days for the best colour, fading gradually and lasting up to ten days with good aftercare. Moisturise daily and avoid long, hot showers and swimming to keep your tan even as it fades.

Will a spray tan transfer onto my clothes or bedsheets?

There can be a little transfer in the first few hours while the colour develops, which is completely normal and washes out. Wear old, dark, loose clothing home and avoid tight elastic, and use a dark towel or old sheets on your bed the first night just in case.

Can I have a spray tan if I have sensitive skin?

Yes - our solution is suited to most skin types, and your therapist will always ask about any allergies or sensitivities when you book. If you are unsure or have reacted to a tan before, mention it and we can do a small patch test first.
